TuneLink Auto for Android is a new application and DC adapter that is hoping to ship in mid-January 2011 and will provide Android smartphone owners a method to wirelessly stream music through their car stereo without the needs for any wires. Simply connecting the provided DC adapter to your cars DC power port will allow its integrated Bluetooth to connect to your Android smartphone and wirelessly stream music through the car audio system (if Bluetooth enabled) and multiple devices can pair with TuneLink via Bluetooth at any one time.
But doesn’t worry if your in-car stereo is not Bluetooth enabled the system also comes with an inline jack for connecting older stereos to TuneLink Auto. The DC adapter is also fitted with a handy USB connection to allow you to charge your device while driving.
TuneLink Auto will be available next month for $97.
